CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR COLLECTION DAY CHANGES

Please note that recycling/refuse collections are changing over Christmas and New Year, including green bins

FAMILY CARERS WELLBEING FAYRE - 30TH NOVEMBER

This event is being held in conjunction with Shropshire Council as part of our NHS England Carers Voice commitment.
Carers Rights Day if one of two national events which focuses on Carers. The event is facilitated by Carers Centre and I am sure they would appreciate your support.  The programme is extensive:

TELFORD’S CHRISTMAS MARKET IS BACK TO CELEBRATE TELFORD’S 50TH YEAR

Telford European Christmas Market is back for its third year in Southwater!
To mark the town’s 50th birthday and celebrate the market’s opening weekend,  there’ll be some added festive atmosphere around Southwater Lake with fountains, fire and floating lanterns from 29 November – 1 December.

YOUNG PEOPLE’S GRANT SCHEME CALLS FOR APPLICANTS

Telford & Wrekin Council’s, Leader and Young People’s Grant Scheme is now open and calling for applicants in the year that Telford turns 50 years old.

LOCAL GP PRACTICES TO OFFER EVENING AND WEEKEND APPOINTMENTS FROM 1ST OCTOBER

Local GP practices are working together to offer patients more access to appointments, in the early evenings and weekends, from Monday, 1 October, 2018. NHS Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is rolling out the national initiative called Extended Access to offer more appointments to local people

PAVE LANE QUARRY & LANDFILL PLANNING APPLICATION REJECTED

Chetwynd Aston and Woodcote Parish Council would like to announce that the Pave Lane Quarry & Landfill planning application has been rejected by the Planning inspectorate

PARISH COUNCIL WORKING IN CONJUNCTION WITH SMARTWATER AND WEST MERCIA POLICE
