GALLIER HOMES £5,000 DONATION

Gallier Homes have kindly donated £5,000 to fund projects in the parish. The Council have used the money to install a defibrillator and joined the Smartwater scheme to offer every household within the parish a free Smartwater kit.

The defibrillator has been installed outside the Wheatsheaf Inn. If there is a need to use it, please dial 999 first as the call operator will talk you through the process and give the code to access the box. If you would like to have training on how to use the defibrillator, please contact the parish council on info@cawpc.co.uk.

We are working in conjunction with Smartwater and West Mercia police to reduce theft crimes in Chetwynd Aston and Woodcote. The Smartwater kit contains a water-based liquid which contains a forensic code which is registered to your address and a Smartwater window sticker. The liquid will place an invisible (in natural light) mark on items in the home. If those items are stolen and are recovered by the police, they can be traced back to where they came from. West Mercia Police are also providing sings which will be distributed around the Parish. Please keep an eye on our website and facebook page for dates to collect the kits.
