PARISH COUNCIL WORKING IN CONJUNCTION WITH SMARTWATER AND WEST MERCIA POLICE

The Parish Council are working in conjunction with Smartwater and West Mercia police to reduce theft crimes in Chetwynd Aston and Woodcote.

The parish have joined the Smartwater scheme to offer every household within the parish a free Smartwater kit.

The Smartwater kit contains a water-based liquid which contains a forensic code which is registered to your address and a Smartwater window sticker. The liquid will place an invisible (in natural light) mark on items in the home. If those items are stolen and are recovered by the police, they can be traced back to where they came from.

West Mercia Police are providing sings which will be distributed around the Parish.
