PAVE LANE QUARRY & LANDFILL PLANNING APPLICATION REJECTED

Chetwynd Aston and Woodcote Parish Council would like to announce that the Pave Lane Quarry & Landfill planning application has been rejected by the Planning inspectorate 

for the following reasons;


  • Substantial adverse effect on the character and appearance of the area during its operation

  • Dust and noise causing harm to the local amenities

  • Temporary loss of best and most versatile agricultural land, along with the possibility of permanent harm to soil quality

  • Conflicts with the current local plan


 A lot of hard work has been undertaken by Parish Councillors and local residents to help fight this Quarry and thanks are expressed to everyone for their input however big or small.
