NEWS & VIEWS 2023

We work hard to get our efforts noticed by the media and are so proud when this goal comes to fruition. A well informed community is an empowered one as well, so take a look at some of the latest coverage we’ve received below and help spread the word about all the amazing developments at CHETWYND ASTON & WOODCOTE PARISH COUNCIL.

ROAD SAFETY

Chetwynd Aston & Woodcote Parish Council has been working closely with Telford & Wrekin Council and Bloor Homes to deliver a range of road safety improvements along the route of Pave Lane, through our Parish.

These safety improvements include more locations for Speed Indication Devices, hatching (visual narrowing markings) and other road markings.

It is hoped that these improvements will have a positive impact on driver behaviour while travelling through our Parish, thus keeping our community safe.

The funding for this scheme has been supplied by Bloor Homes, who have made a commitment to keeping communities safe and ensuring this place is a healthy and safe place to live, work and visit.

The Parish Council has welcomed this partnership and is thankful to Bloor Homes for their commitment to making such improvements happen, and to Telford & Wrekin Council for their support in developing these plans.
